Valentine's Day - Support Horses in Fairfax County!

The Park Authority approved a change to the zoning regulations that will allow homeowners to apply for a $50 permit to teach riding lessons at their property, and board up to 8 horses. The zoning change does not alter the number of horses on the property - it just allows the homeowner to share their passion with others. There are many restrictions, but it should allow small barns to have company in their barns, and teach others.

The final hurdle is a Board of Supervisors vote tomorrow, Valentine's Day. Come and show your support, or email your supervisor (John Foust here in Great Falls, John.Foust@fairfaxcounty.gov), in support of the home business zoning change.
